Days are very pleasant with plenty of sunshine, but temperatures can fall a bit at night. Pack your summer clothing for during the day but bring along light jumpers or long sleeved tops for that evening stroll along the beach.

This is an excellent season to enjoy the nature trails on The Akamas. The flowers are in bloom and the countryside is at its greenest.

June-July-August

These are the warmest months of summer. To get the best out of the Cyprus Weather at this time of year you should pack your light weight clothing and sun hats and leave plenty of room for your sun tan lotions. These are the best months for spending time around the pool, at the beach and taking part in water activities.

September-October

November-December

The days are still pleasantly warm but now is the time to pack your autumn clothing. Light woollies are a must if you plan to enjoy outdoor sports or an outdoor lunch. Sunbathing and swimming can still be enjoyed at this time of year.

January-February

These months are considered winter by the Cypriots but we like to compare the weather to a fresh autumn. A drink along the Ayia Napa harbour side can still be enjoyed on New Years Day but winter clothing is definitely suggested. Warm jackets and even an umbrella may be useful to fend off the occasional rain shower. This time of the year is ideal for day trips to discover what the rest of the island has to offer and conditions are great for snow skiing on the Troodos mountains, drive down to Salamis ruins or exploring the Karpas peninsula.

March
